Robinson crusoe is 18th century novel by daniel defoe..it was published in 1719, it is an advanture novel of character robinson crusoe. We can see that in movie and book that the character of crusoe is englishman, whiteman. And friday is slave of crusoe 's or nonwhiteman.. And xury also.

1) Colonial discourse in Robinson crusoe

This novel is full of slavery system or colonialism which is very dark side of history and we never want it to heppen again but in this novel we can see it clearly.
crusoe is central character in this story. crusoe suggest friday to call him as "Master'' so indirectly friday became his "SLAVE" colonialism seen in how crusoe trite friday as a slave here crusoe reflect the attitude of English Man.

             Relationship.
Crusoe never accept Friday as friend he humiliate friday and trite as servant. Friday was very emotional man but crusoe doesn't care.

Culture.                Crusoe try to taught ftiday his culture and religious. crusoe believe that English culture is best and he was fill proved. Friday believe in his GOD "POKKYA"but crusoe don't like and he was try to friday believe in his GOD.

              Language.
Crusoe teach friday his own English Language and also he tells him to wear clothes but friday was uncomfortable in clothes. crusoe started teaching to friday his religion and culture.

Anti-colonial  elements  in the film :

The most important change in the film that shows anti-colonial nature. In film Crusoe became Friday's friend. We can see strong bond between Crusoe and Friday.
In film Friday argued with Crusoe in every point. He never allowed Crusoe as his master,he never accept Crusoe's culture, his religion, his clothes.
These all points shows anti-colonialism while original text is totally opposite from film.
